Air Europa was founded in 1986 by a businessman from Salamanca named Juan José Hidalgo. Its main headquarters are in Mallorca, the main city of the Balearic Islands. Air Europa is the second largest Spanish airline and one of the 20 most important in Europe, it also belongs to the Skyteam alliance.
It currently has more than 218 routes and has bases or “hubs” in Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Gran Canaria, Tenerife-North, Malaga and Valencia . Air Europa flights connect almost 30 countries weekly with more than 80 destinations.

The cabin luggage included in any type of reservation in Air Europa, consists of a personal accessory with maximum dimensions of 20 cm x 35 cm x 30 cm and will be located under the seat, it also includes a standard size carry-on bag (55 cm. x 35 cm. x 25 cm) and with a maximum weight of 10Kg
Check-in
You can check-in online with just the name of the passenger and the reservation locator. Within the process you can select your seat and they will send you the boarding pass via email, you can also print it at that time or obtain the QR for boarding.
However, Air Europa also offers to check-in at the airport counters, which open 2h and 30m before flight departure and close between 45 and 60 minutes before departure.
Seating
By default, Air europa offers a random seat assignment for free. You can reserve the seats in the flight reservation process, the prices of each seat range between € 4 and € 16.
